Kulim Hi-Tech Park Independent Plant
The Gas Based Combined Cycle Power Plant was developed to serve as an independent utility for Kulim Hi-Tech Industrial Park. The CCPP power station has two blocks with four gas turbines, four heat recovery steam generators and two steam turbines complete with cooling water system, ancillary plant and electrical equipment. The plant has an outdoor switchyard and other distribution network.
Tenom Pangi Hydroelectric Plant, Sabah
Tenom Pangi Hydro Station on Padas river is located 120 km south of Kota Kinabalu in Sabah state. The Padas River drains a catchment area of 7,815 km2 at the power intake and yield 211 m3/s of runoff on average.
SJSAS – 3 X 700 MW Coal-Fired Power Station
Located in the Manjung District of Perak, the power plant is situated on reclaimed land, connected to the mainland by a causeway. RBSB provided civil and structural engineering and detailed design in accordance with British, European and Malaysian standards and codes and was successfully executed within strict timelines and world-class quality.
Pahang Cement Project
The Pahang Cement Project is Located at Bukit Sagu, a greenfield site, 40km from Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur. As Owner’s Engineers and Project Managers, Ranhill’s scope of services are as the following tasks; Feasibility Studies, Project Management, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Process Engineering Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Services, High Voltage System & Plant Automation, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Services, Civil and Structural Engineering Services and Geotechnical Engineering Services.
Silterra Wafer Plant
The Silterra Wafer Plant in Kulim Hi-Tech is a leading semiconductor wafer foundry with a designed capacity of 38000 eight –inch wafers per month, to spur electronics growth in Malaysia.
Manjung 4: 1X1000MW Coal Fired Power Plant Project, Malaysia.
The project comprises the development of a 1X1000MW Coal Fired Power Station in Manjung, Perak. The site is located at Teluk Penchalang in the Manjung District, next to the Manjung 3X700MW plant and covers an area of approximately 285 hectares. The site for the proposed power plant, ash storage ponds and coal storage yards are on a reclaimed island connected to the mainland by a causeway. The site is generally a hydrological filled platform of marine sand overlaying a band of soft clay. The proposed power station site is well accessible by road and is situated approximately 10km southwest of the towns of Manjung and Sitiawan.
Teluk Salut 190MW Combined Cycle Conversion Project, Malaysia.
The Gas-Fired Combined Cycle Power Plant located at Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park, Sepangar, Sabah, is currently generating at full capacity of total 380MW, contributing 43% to the maximum load demand to the Sabah Grid.
